Who We Are?

IPC Educational and Welfare Society (IPC EWS) is in the pursuit of "Perfecting the Saints for Transforming the World" by providing world-class spiritual and secular tools for leadership development through institutions of excellence, mercy missions and the placement of native and cross-cultural workers. It embodies a widely-felt desire for commonly owned educational and service institutions with the highest standards. Through the active engagements in South Asia for the last two decades, through its different projects, IPCEWS has made a tremendous impact and has engaged in the multifaceted development of communities, so far.

Registered in Kerala on January 2003, with Rev. John Daniel as its founder president, IPC EWS extended the invitation to individuals and institutions, to join the board, supporting its vision. Adding to the 87 founding board members, more well-wishers from India and diaspora Indian communities from North America joined the society. At present IPC EWS has more than 300 members from India and diaspora Indians from different countries, with Dr. Idicheria Ninan as its President.

The Society has succeeded in developing a graduate-level Theological Seminary at Kottayam, Sophia International School at Manganam, Ebenezer Patient Guidance Center in Vellore, Training Centers in Bihar, & Uttar Pradesh, Tailoring Institutes, Computer Lab and Distance Education Centers in Mumbai, Bilaspur, Kolkota and New Delhi.IPC EWS has widened its horizon through the engagements in through several community initiatives, in different states of India. The online directorate of IPC Theological Seminary, Center for Online Theological Studies (COTS) and the Distance Education Department and Center for Distance Learning (CDL) has attracted hundreds of seekers who are interested in theological studies. 3:16 Creations, the audio-visual recording studio, provides facility for singers, preachers and content creators, with modern amenities for professional recording and editing. Build, a mobile-based application is designed to inspire and equip people and to cater to the multi-dimensional needs of communities. Jeevan Jyothi Counselling Center with a proficient panel of counsellors, assists people to live up to their full potential and to overcome the life crisis confidently.IPC EWS has initiated an MoU with SusamacharSevaMandali, to widen its work in central and Northern India. IPC EWS, under the publication wing of IPC Theological Seminary Kottayam and in collaboration with other agencies envisions translating and publishing academic and devotional literature. IPC EWS makes sure that its work, through different projects, in various segments of the Society culminates in the holistic development of communities in South Asia.
